Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I would first like to say, “Tough times never last. But tough people do.” Pipeliners are some of the toughest and most resilient folks, but we are definitely being tested. We already had many enemies to battle, such as cheap nonunion contractors, biased judges, and extreme environmental protesters.
By the time you read this report, you should have already received your election ballot in the mail. So, take the time to fill it out and get it returned. It was great seeing all the participation in the nominations process, and I encourage all our membership to make sure to participate in the voting process as well. It is always a pleasure to visit with everyone at our meetings. It was amazing to see all the passion and pride expressed by our membership at our September meeting.
Work is still very slow in my jurisdiction. I wish I had a more positive outlook to share, but for now that is about as honest as it gets. I appreciate all of you that have contacted me for work. Although I could not help you at the time, I enjoyed getting the opportunity to visit with you one-on-one.
Please remember that there is still plenty of building trades work out there to keep a person busy, pick up the phone, and call dispatch. Our work ethic and attitude are a direct reflection on our local as a whole, so be mindful at all times that we are a brotherhood of excellence.
I hope everyone will make plans to attend the December meeting. Our meetings are the best opportunity to gain knowledge, share opinions and ideas, and socialize with fellow Brothers and Sisters.
In closing, remember that I am here to serve YOU, so do not hesitate to call me at 918-991-5341. I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas. May your families be blessed with good health and an abundance of love. God bless each one of you, and God bless this great Local.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I hope this report finds our Local 798 family safe and healthy. By now, the COVID-19 pandemic has reached almost every county and parish in the United States. I don’t know that anyone could have forecasted that this virus would sweep through our country with such intensity.
There is no way to describe the times in which we are living. We are walking through a situation that no one has dealt with before us. However, we do have work starting. Gas companies and contractors are proceeding with extreme caution.
