Northeast Supply Enhancement is a critical expansion of the Transco natural gas pipeline system in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Construction of this nearly $1 billion project is expected to support over 3,000 jobs, many of these going to Local 798 members. Once complete, Northeast Supply Enhancement will provide customers access to enough natural gas to serve the daily needs of nearly 2.3 million homes. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) released the final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the project on Jan 25, 2019, finding the project will have "minimal" potential impact on the environment.

Pipeliners build the pipelines that give communities across the country access to critical energy production. The country has benefited greatly from the use of our domestic oil and natural gas. These domestic resources have contributed billions of dollars to the national economy and helped energize markets across the country and beyond.
