The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for the Atlantic Sunrise project in February. This regulatory approval moves Atlantic Sunrise one step closer to construction, which will provide thousands of jobs for local labor and increase access to reliable, affordable natural gas to millions of Americans.
Now, The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) will hold four public hearings regarding the Chapter 102 and 105 permits for Atlantic Sunrise.
The details for the hearing scheduled in Lancaster are as follows:
When: Monday, June 12 6:00 - 9:00 pm EST
Where: Max Smith Auditorium, Lancaster Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601
This public meeting is an opportunity to publicly voice your support for Atlantic Sunrise by discussing the benefits of the project and the merits of the permit applications.
