Jordan Cove LNG and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline will hold open houses as part of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pre-filing process (Docket No. PF17-4) to provide the public with opportunities to learn about the Project and interact with company and FERC representatives.
Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline project will provide natural gas to the pacific northwest and international markets. The Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline project is a proposed 232-mile, 36-inch diameter pipeline designed to transport up to 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from interconnects near Malin, Oregon, to the Jordan Cove LNG terminal in Coos Bay, Oregon, where the natural gas will be liquefied for transport to international markets.
The Pacific Connector Pipeline will...
-create over 1,800 new jobs and Jordan Cove LNG in Coos Bay will create 2,100 new jobs.
-provide an economic boost for southern Oregon during construction and after completion of the project.
-generate on average $3 million each for Klamath, Jackson, Douglas and Coos counties in annual tax revenue.
