Sign Our Letter to Senator Armstrong

In March 2026, Alan Armstrong, former CEO of Williams, was appointed a U.S. Senator for Oklahoma. Sen. Armstrong brings more than three decades of leadership experience within the state's robust energy industry. During his time leading Williams, he helped drive the success of critical infrastructure projects that put our members to work, including the Northeast Supply Enhancement expansion, and he has been a key supportive voice in the revived Constitution Pipeline effort.

Sign our letter congratulating Sen. Armstrong on this appointment. We are ready to work with his colleagues to secure good jobs, build safe pipeline infrastructure and secure access to domestically sourced energy.

Dear Senator Armstrong,

On behalf of the United Association’s Local 798 Pipeliners, we extend our sincere congratulations on your appointment to the United States Senate. This is a well-deserved recognition of your leadership, industry expertise and longstanding commitment to strengthening America’s energy infrastructure.

Throughout your distinguished career, including your leadership at Williams, you have demonstrated a deep understanding of the critical role that natural gas and pipeline infrastructure play in powering our nation’s economy. Your work advancing reliable, safe and efficient energy delivery systems has helped ensure that American families and businesses have access to affordable energy, while also supporting job creation across the country.

Your leadership within the energy sector has consistently reflected a balanced approach — recognizing both the importance of economic growth and the need for responsible development. As strong advocates for infrastructure investment, regulatory clarity and workforce development, we appreciate how you have helped elevate the conversation around maintaining U.S. energy leadership in an increasingly complex global landscape.

For the hardworking men and women of Local 798, your commitment to the pipeline industry and the skilled trades is especially meaningful. Our members take great pride in building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps America running, and we value leaders who understand the importance of our work and the communities we support.

We are confident that your experience, insight and steady leadership will serve the people of Oklahoma — and the nation — well in the Senate. We look forward to working with you to advance policies that strengthen our energy infrastructure, support American workers and promote long-term energy security.

Congratulations once again on this important achievement. We wish you continued success in your service to the country.

Signed,
