September 1: Virtual Public Meeting for Line 5

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is holding public scoping meetings to collect public comments on Enbridge’s Line 5 Pipeline Tunnel project's Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

RSVPs are not necessary to attend, but please note that participation limits are 1,000 per virtual meeting (and approximately 500 for the in-person meeting on September 8). The meetings will begin with the Corps of Engineers providing a brief presentation to review the proposed project, the NEPA process and methods of providing scoping comments. Attendees will then have the opportunity to speak.

We also encourage all advocates to sign our comment in the Action Network that we will submit to the Army Corps before the EIS comment period ends on October 14.
