Oct 4: Midwest Carbon Express Project Public Hearing

The Iowa Utilities Board is holding a series of public meetings to discuss Summit Carbon Solutions' Midwest Carbon Express project, a $4.5 billion investment in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska to develop the world’s largest carbon capture and storage project. The project will support up to 17,000 construction jobs, many going to Local 798 members.

Participation in these meetings is critical, as conversations and negotiations with landowners will determine the final alignment of the project.

There are several meetings running into October. If you can attend this particular meeting, please let us know below -- and be sure to also officially RSVP through the Summit Carbon Solutions website: scroll to the bottom of their page [here], and click "RSVP for Landowner Information Meetings".
