About the project
A nearly $1 billion investment, this 120-mile underground pipeline will originate in Dallas, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania, and terminate at Transco’s interconnection near Pennington, New Jersey. It will serve to reduce energy costs and support thousands of jobs with clean-burning, American energy. Ultimately, the PennEast Pipeline will help utilities deliver this affordable energy source to families and businesses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

SEE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE PROJECT
Randy Evans |
The reality is that we need natural gas and we need oil. Period. Do the research to see what all just in your kitchen alone is made from oil. And natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel there is.
We have two options:
(1) Continue to drill for oil and build new pipelines and CAPTURE AND CONTAIN OUR FOSSIL FUEL EMISSIONS while simultaneously building a large green grid system (OR)
(2) Use horse and carriage and bicycles.
And forget about your Tupperware, dishwashing soap, your makeup and just about everything else you take for granted.
