Sept 28: MVP Public Hearing with the Virginia DEQ
The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is holding two public hearings, September 27 and 28, on the Section 401 Water Quality Certification for Mountain Valley Pipeline construction activities authorized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This approval would eliminate key obstacles preventing project developers from proceeding with long-delayed construction.
Thousands of pipeliner jobs are on the line with this certification approval, many of whom are Local 798 members.
